The RSG-1000B has been designed to fill the need for a basic RF signal generator for design, development, and testing. We've included the performance and features you need every day, and priced it to let you equip every bench. Standard features include a 1 ppm time base, 90 set-up memories, and an RS-232 interface that supports polled readings plus download and upload of all setup memories. At 12"x6" x 12" and 11 lbs, it is suitable for mobile use as a service tool or local oscillator.

Accurate and Stable
Frequency synthesis is referenced to an internal 0.1 ppm 50 MHz time base. Input for an external time base is standard.

Easy to use
The display is a bright green VFD you can read from across the room, and displays all operating parameters. A numeric membrane keypad enables direct entry of all parameters. All functions are accessible without using a "shift" or second function key for real ease of use. We have also incorporated a "smart knob" which has analog feel, but is intelligently enabled when entering or changing parameters in any field
