The SX8500 is a new "All-In-One" digital Player/Recorder/Adapter, designed to
provide the ultimate solution in a continuous play audio source in message and
music on hold applications for regular analog telephones. This device delivers outstanding audio quality storing recordings on a non-volatile removable flash card. Unlike other flash based cards that compress the audio, audio is recorded directly into solid state memory in it’s natural, uncompressed form providing superior quality voice and music. The SX8500 has integrated adapter/controller support for up to 4 lines when used with standard Non KSU type phones. It activates via Hold or Flash button on any phone and requires no attachments to the phone. The SX8500 even works on cordless phones just by pressing the Hold button and supports as many telephones as the customer may have. The SX8500 can record It’s flash cards automatically Via email by connecting it to "audio jack" connector on any PC and simply playing the MP3 or wave audio file and/or by pressing the REC button. There is minimum user involvement, no software drivers to install, no USB ports to find and no PC operating systems to worry about. This is the same process already used to get approval on a production. For users less computer savvy or with no email access, a flash card can always be mailed. SX8500 provides an easy to use, easy to update, fast turnaround and complete solution in message on hold applications for the regular analog telephones. SX8500 digital player/recorder functions: The SX8500 is also a brilliantly engineered state-of-the-art digital player /recorder with full user record-ability and ease of use. It is designed to provide a continuous-play digital audio system for music/message-on-hold, product/service announcement, background music or any other application requiring high quality audio playback. Unlike other digital players the SX8500 utilizes "True audio recording" - the voice and audio programs are recorded directly into solid state memory in their natural, uncompressed form providing superior quality voice and music reproduction. This allows the SX8500 un-restricted recording ability from any audio source in any format e.g. Windows .wav, CD, MP3, WMA, even Windows media player with SRS surround sound and WOW effects. The audio program can be loaded into the SX8500 in several simple ways: Card Load - by inserting the "True audio Flash card", a cutting edge, flash technology, stamp sized re-record-able card ( a pre-recorded card with "thank you for holding…" and Royalty Free music by professional male and female voice artist talents is included) "Email Auto Load"™- a revolutionary new way to automatically record into SX8500 via email "CD Auto Load" - a convenient, easy, and automatic recording method into SX8500 using a standard CD /DVD player or a PC CD rom drive Direct Load - a simple push button recording from any audio source such as a PC speaker jack, CD player, radio, tape, DVD player, iPod or MP3 player, etc. Microphone Load - a simple push button recording using an optional Headset & microphone Instant Messager™ - (user advertisement) This exclusive optional feature provides user record-able short messages to be played back at 30 second intervals during the main program playback professionally with Fade in/ Fade out effects. One short message with a maximum of 15 seconds can be instantly recorded by the user via the rich sounding microphone interface jack integrated into the SX8500. No PC connection, No USB ports or other ports to worry about, No software installation, It is truly an enjoyable Plug & Play operation. No need to register a product to get a one time semi-personalized fixed message either. With "Instant Messager"™ Personalized messages can easily be done by anyone and be updated effortlessly and instantly anytime. Ideal for special promotions, sale events, etc. "Email Auto Load"™ SX8500 is the 1st device in the world with a new exclusive feature- it can be automatically recorded by playing an email. The SX8500 can be connected via a provided audio cable to a PC speaker jack and can remain connected at all times (the cable length can be expanded up to 500 feet). When an email that contains a special audible code is played on the PC, the SX8500 automatically starts its recorder and records the new audio content and then resumes its normal playback cycle. This way a program audio update is just a simple email play. All other songs and music or audio played on the PC will not be recorded. Many Music/message on hold production companies already have the Invotel automatic email updating codes. "CD Auto Load" The SX8500 can be loaded via a CD player or DVD player automatically or a PC CD rom drive. The device is connected to a standard CD player or DVD player or your PC speaker jack via the provided audio cord. The audio program CD contains a special audible code and when is inserted into the CD player or your PC CD rom drive, it automatically triggers the SX8500 into record mode and it records the audio content. The SX8500 then resumes its normal playback cycle. This way a program audio update can be done by just inserting a CD and walking away. Microphone/Headset: The SX8500 optional headset & adjustable microphone is simply inserted into a jack on the device. The recording can be done by just pushing REC button on the SX8500; the rich sounding microphone allows full user record-ability. The SX8500 can even record from multiple sources at the same time, a PC, CD player, iPod or other audio source may be connected to its "Audio IN" jack so that audio can be recorded as a "background" while microphone recording is taking place. |
