The Hamlet DS9000 DigiScope is a 1U rack mountable, low power device with DVI and XVGA outputs for use on external displays. This makes this an ideal alternative and/or a replacement for broadcast measuring devices in production or engineering environments, especially where repetitive monitoring or measurements are needed. Areas such as, master control, pre or post-production, remote sites and OB vehicles. Indeed anywhere serial digital signals or multi-format measurement is required.

The DS9000 DigiScope is a modular instrument so it is easy for the user to upgrade at any time. It’s capable of measurement and monitoring SD-SDI and composite video signals and audio in its embedded, or AES/EBU formats. The HD/SD serial input connection is made to the centre gold plated BNC socket, which is internally terminated at 75 ohms. The left BNC provides an equalized output of the input feed and the right BNC allows an external timing reference or AES audio signal to be input.

The separate modules are simple to exchange in the FlexiScope, MicroFlex, MonitorScope 9000 and DigiScope 9000. To exchange said modules, the user has to start by removing 2 screws and pull the module out of the main frame. Afterwards, the user inserts the new module and re-inserting the 2 screws.
