1249B generates a variety of test signals and patterns used in servicing video devices.  In addition to NTSC color Bars, Model 1249B also generates separate RGB, horizontal sync, vertical sync and composite sync signals.  The video patterns generated by Model 1249B include standard NTSC color bars, color bars with 100% white, staircase, black raster, and an assortment of convergence patterns.  Convergence patterns include 7 X 11 line, 7 X 11 dot and single centered dot.  The RGB output is switch selectable between TTL and low (0.8 V) signal levels.  a D-type subminiature connector is provided for CGA computer monitors when the TTL level is selected.  A 30 Hz signal is provided for isolation of servo problems in VCR's.  A switch selectable 4.5 MHz sound sub-carrier is also provided to check audio circuitry.
