Monitor & Store Spectrum Displays on Your PC
The ADA-10A Analyzer Display Adapters connect your Avcom
Portable Spectrum to your IBM compatible PC via the parallel
port. Our ADA software then enables you to view and store the
spectrum display as seen on the computer monitor. Each stored
record includes the associated settings (center frequency, span,
reference level, and sweep rate) and resulting figures (start
and stop frequencies, total span and resolution bandwidth). You
can also add notes for related information such as location
conditions, etc. when the trace was recorded. In display mode,
two traces can be viewed simultaneously, one that has been saved
and a new trace for comparison. The ADA-10A require a
modular connector on the rear of the analyzer. New units now
come configured for the ADA-10A. When ordering this
accessory for an older analyzer which does not have the
connector, the unit must be returned to the factory for
modification.

 The AVSAC2 is an attractive and practical accessory for PSA
models with LCD displays.
The AVSAC2 is made of durable black Cordura Nylon with a protective foam backing. The full
length zipper opening on the front of the case allows you easy access to all of the
necessary PSA or PTR operating controls. There is a large zippered pouch pocket on the top
of the case for storage of accessories, cables, connectors, etc.
Strong poly-pro webbing
reinforces the case and provides a secure mounting for the sturdy and
adjustable/detachable shoulder strap with comfortable shoulder pad.

The AVPAK is an attractive and
practical accessory for PSA
models with CRT displays.
Includes a shoulder strap that can be removed and
positioned onto the AVPAK so that it becomes a backpack. The case
also includes pockets for storage of accessories, cables, connectors, etc.

DCP-20 DC Power Inserter |

An addition to the line of DC power inserters, the model DCP-20. The versatile DCP-20 can be used as a DC
block or as a means of inserting power into a coaxial transmission line. One important
application is to remotely power the RFP series of RF preamplifiers through the feedline
so the preamplifiers may be located at the antenna to eliminate coax losses. Users of the
expensive test equipment, such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers, can prevent
costly attenuator and mixer burnout (from misconnected power supply leads, shorted DC
blocking capacitors or carelessness) by use of the DCP-20 on RF ports. Insertion loss of
the DCP-20 is less than .3 dB through 2 GHz with an impedance of 50 ohms. Other impedances
may be specified by the customer. The DCP-20 may be ordered with any mix of gender of SMA,
BNC, N and F type connectors. The DCP-20 is packaged in a machined aluminum block with
dimensions of 1.25" x 1.00" x 0.75".

| Frequency Extenders |

Frequency Extenders
allow PSAs as well as other manufacturers spectrum analyzers, to have greater versatility
by increasing the frequency coverage. See below table for Standard Frequency Extenders.
Other frequency bands may be customer
specified. Frequency Extenders are microwave frequency converters (MFC) that consist of a
mixer and oscillator tuned to down-convert the incoming signals so that the output falls
between 0 and 1000 MHz. The Frequency Extenders may be specified to be powered coaxially
by the spectrum analyzer or by an external power supply. DC insertion posts may be added
to provide a point for DC insertion to power LNAs, LNBs, or Line Amplifiers. The
PSA-65C
recognizes which Frequency Extender is being used and displays the proper frequency on the
center frequency display. The Frequency Extenders are packaged in a chassis that measures
6.5"W x 2.25"H x 7.25"D and two Extenders may be made in one chassis if
specified when ordered.

The TISH-40 Terrestrial Interference Survey Horn
is used in conjunction with the PSA-35A and any LNA for site surveys. The TISH-40 features
18 dB gain in the 3.7 to 4.2 GHz range of frequencies. It is highly directional with high
gain and rugged construction. The TISH-40 will allow the utility of the versatile PSA-35A
Spectrum Analyzer. 1/4-20 stainless nuts pressed into the flange make LNA assembly and
disassembly quick and easy.

| QRM-35 Quick Release Rackmount Kit |
|
The Quick Release Rackmount Kit allows
the PSA-65C, PSA-37D, PSA-39A and PTR-25LCD to be installed in a standard 19"
equipment rack. The front plate has 4 spring loaded thumbscrews for easy removal so
that the PSA or PTR can be removed for use in the field and easily returned to the rack.
