Effective 3D-Radio-network by design
3D is the key to RF3D. With 3D, multi-floor installations are accurately and correctly designed. After all, WLAN is not a 2D medium.

To help, floor plans in jpg, png or bmp format can be easily scanned by the RF3D WifiPlanner and organized with the help of the import wizard. Non-conforming or screwed plans are easily adjusted to same scale and congruent overlaid positioned.

Interacting objects like walls, ceiling and shelves will be gone over in the ground plans. For this function, a large library provides wall and ceiling materials with the physical parameters. This library can be easily adjusted and enlarged by the user.

RF3D WifiPlanner is vendor neutral and offers a database of all WLAN networks no matter which access point or antenna vendor you prefer. Place access points with a single mouse click and simply adjust the height, antenna type, light angle, transmission power, channels etc. RF3D WifiPlanner will take care of everything else. Additional information provided in real time includes signal strength, data rate, and interference.

Besides signal strength, RF3D displays different views of WLANs on the first floor. This includes: Signal strength, SNR, data rate, interference, access points and redundance. This display makes it easy for even beginning WLAN-planners to optimize the WLAN.
